Why Dashers switch

Built for the 15 seconds that decide your shift.

Offers appear. Timer starts. DashFox does the math before your brain can.

Instant take/skip

A clear green TAKE or orange SKIP the moment an offer pops. No mental math.

Floats over DoorDash

Navigation keeps running. Music keeps playing. You never swap apps.

Real $/mile & $/hour

Uses your market's actual distances — numbers that match your paycheck.

The difference

One shift in. You'll feel it.

Without DashFox

  • Mental math on a 10-second timer
  • Realize mid-drive an offer sucks
  • Switch apps to check distances
  • End the night unsure if you did well

With DashFox

  • $/mi & $/hr on screen instantly
  • TAKE or SKIP — decision made
  • Never leave DoorDash or nav
  • Clock out with more in the bank

Dasher questions.

Yes — 100% free during our beta. We're still figuring out if/how to monetize later, and beta users will hear from us first.
No. DashFox never logs into DoorDash and never modifies the DoorDash app. It only reads what's already on your screen — the same tech accessibility tools use.
Before-and-after internal testing with real Dashers in one U.S. market — hourly gains averaged over 20%. Your mileage will vary by market, shift length, and how closely you follow the signals.
No. DashFox is lightweight and only wakes up when DoorDash shows an offer. Most Dashers report no noticeable battery impact across an 8-hour shift.
All offer reading happens on your device. We may use anonymized offer data to improve market recommendations, but personal info, credentials, and location stay on your phone.
Not possible. iOS doesn't let any app read the contents of another — so the take/skip overlay can't work there. Android only.
Dasher playbook

DoorDash earnings, answered.

DoorDash shows you the payout and miles, but not what the order pays per hour — you'd have to estimate the time and do the math before the timer runs out. DashFox is a free Android app that floats over DoorDash and shows the $/hour and $/mile of every offer in real time, so you can take or skip on numbers instead of gut feel.
A quick rule: estimate total minutes (drive + wait), then divide payout by time. An $8 order that takes 20 minutes is $24/hour — good. A $7.85 order that works out to $7.35/hour is a trap that looks fine on its face. The dollar amount means nothing without the time; per-hour is the only number that pays your bills.
Your acceptance rate does not affect your account standing — you cannot be deactivated for declining orders. Top Dasher status requires 70% acceptance, which forces you to take money-losing orders to keep a badge that mostly helps in slow suburban markets. In busy markets, selective dashers consistently out-earn accept-everything dashers on a per-hour basis.
Here is one real evening dash we recorded end to end: $56.39 across 2 hours 2 minutes online — $27.73 an hour — with 5 of 6 offers accepted, in the St. Louis suburbs on a Sunday evening. What a running per-hour number will not do is hold still. It is your earnings so far divided by your time so far, so it sinks while you drive and jumps the instant a payment posts: in that same session it read $9.40/hour at one low point and $26.31/hour fifteen minutes later, with nothing about the driver's decisions changing in between. Judge a shift by what it paid when it ended, not by the figure on screen in the middle of it.
DoorDash's own app shows totals per dash, not a live per-hour rate. DashFox tracks your running $/hour in a floating overlay while you dash — no spreadsheets, no end-of-shift math, free. Beta testers earned 20%+ more per hour.
Decline more. Every bad order you accept blocks a better one behind it. Set a floor (many use $1/minute of estimated time, roughly $60/hour of active time on the good stretches), take stacked orders when the math works, and track your real per-hour so you know instead of guess.
You scan the customer's ID in the Dasher app at the door — it verifies age and validity for you. If the customer is unavailable, visibly intoxicated, or the ID fails, you return the order and keep the pay. Alcohol orders often pay above average and most dashers skip them out of uncertainty, which is exactly why they're worth learning.
